SM213 cover is designed by Samotech to let Philips Hue users install the Dimmer Switch on top of existing light switches. Thus keeping the dimmer where it should belong and protecting the light switch from an accidental switch off at the same time. As it stands smart bulbs will only work if they are supplied with the electricity. Switching off the main light switch disconnects the smart Philips bulbs and renders the Philips Hue features useless. SM213 cover helps to keep your Hue routines operational and protect the bulbs from an accidental power cut. The installation is straightforward and does not involve any electrical work. Just remove the existing screws from your light switch, and install SM213 with new longer screws supplied. The supplied white nylon screws can be easily cut off to a desired size if required.
