Inside our cables are three individually pvc wrapped copper wires (positive, negative and ground) that are double insulated by another flexible PVC housing and then covered in our premium fabric. Our wire is fully (SVT-B) UL Listed. All of our wires are rated for 300V and can carry a weight load of 7.7 pounds. If you are working an a lighting project that only needs a 2-conductor cord all you need to do is just clip the green (ground) wire leaving only the black (positive) wire and white (negative) wire. It's best to order an extra 1-2 feet more cloth covered wire than you think you need for your project or light fixture to take account for any cuts and stripping of wires (or mistakes).
